From the history of the Usaeronavigation. The enterprise for the use of airspace and air traffic control Center "Uzaeronavigation" (TSUAN) was established in 1991 as part of the NAC "Uzbekiston Airways". Its appearance marked a new era in the development of civil aviation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, made it possible to pursue a unified, targeted policy for the development and modernization of the air traffic control system (ATC) throughout Uzbekistan. From the very first days of its existence, the main priorities in the work of the Central Air Transport Agency have been ensuring the safety and regularity of air traffic, providing high-quality services in the field of air navigation services. In order to ensure the reliable functioning of the ATC system, the Flight Radio Engineering Support Complex (CRTOP) was introduced into the TSAN, which allowed it to take a course towards the introduction of new technologies in the field of air traffic management and the modernization of radio equipment in accordance with international ICAO standards. In this regard, in 1994, a contract was signed between the National Airline and the French firm TOMSON-CSF for the modernization of the air traffic control system of Uzbekistan (Phase I).
